Director's BIO

Ema Zimonja was born on the 5th of June 1988 in Belgrade, Serbia.
In the year of 2006 she finished the High School of Design in Belgrade.
The same year she enrolled in the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade and graduated this year in the animation department.
Until now she is an author and creator of 2 animations:"Babaraba & Rajko" (00:03) and "Berta" (06:09).
Her movie "Babaraba i Rajko" has participated in 2 international festivals of animated film : Animateka 2011 (Belgrade)
and Balkanima 2011 (Ljubljana).
She is also skilled in illustration, painting, graphic design and comic books.
Her comic book was exposed at the Inteational comics festival in Belgrade 2010.
Ema also has experience in painting murals as she painted the interior of a prestige nightclub
in downtown Belgrade.
She participated in a logo design contest for a furniture manufacturing company Time to relax and won it. Ema created designs and concept illustrations for smart phone cases for FoneFace. Designed the logo and app icon for Mud run now, a association for obstacle course racing athletes and fans.
