Synopsis

A Child afraid to go out of his home confronts his fear by using a marionette doll which his father builds for him, the child controls it from the rooftop of their building and by doing so is able to get over his fears of going out.

Director's BIO

Amir Porat:
Born in 1986, Amir Porat spent most of his young day's living in Yavne, Israel. After working in the animation field for six years he decided to study animation in Bezalel, aiming to enrich and deepen his knowledge and experience in animation and to explore new areas in his field of work. His movie "Marionette" was co-created with Assaf Karass in their final year of animation studies in Bezalel Academy of the Arts and Design Jerusalem.
Assaf Karass:
Born in 1984, Assaf Karass worked as a tattoo artist in a small tattoo shop in Jerusalem, He decided to study animation in Bezelel, aiming to develop his skills in design and illustration and widen his expertise in the field of visual arts. His movie "Marionette" was co-created with Amir Porat in their final year of animation studies in Bezalel Academy of the Arts and Design Jerusalem.
