Synopsis
In a sleepless night, a restless city, the zodiac travels back and forth between the human world and their constellations. The stargazer, sleeping offshore, is woken up by the fish zodiacs from across the ocean and navigate back home.
Director's BIO
Jessica Poon is an emerging animation director from Hong Kong, currently majoring in Character Animation in California Institute of the Arts as a BFA-4 student. Her first three films, Follow the Rabbit, Origin and Best Wishes, Catgirl have been showcased at various International festivals, including Up-and-coming Film Festival in Germany, ANIMEX in the UK, IFVA in Hong Kong and ASIFA Student Film Festival in the US, etc. In 2013, She was also nominated for Best Student Film in the Annie Award and Adobe Student Award, with her second film, Origin, which is also a Staff Pick on Vimeo. With the same film, she won the International Student Creative Award in Osaka, Japan. Her first music video, Oh! Stargazer, made for the American singer-songwriter, Rie Sinclair, was a collaborative multi-media project that integrates gallery exhibition, music performance and screenings, which has taken place in various locations in Los Angeles, USA.
