Synopsis

Antón, a six years-old boy, begins a fantastic journey from an errand for his mother, the simple task of buying sugar turns into an unexpected adventure.

Director's BIO

Maria Rosario Carlino was born in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, on January 27, 1978.
She holds a Master degree in Film and TV at the National University of Córdoba, and she is currently working in her PhD Thesis in Arts at the same University.
In 2002 she took a specialization degree in Film, Direction & Stop Motion Animation in Barcelona (Spain) for 2 years. During the last ten years she has been dedicated to image and animation, developing personal projects, advertising and educational for children and adults, obtaining in 2009 a grant for a socio-artistic residency program of the AECID to teach animation to children at risk in Nicaragua. He is currently a researcher at the Center for Experimental Animation at the National University of Cordoba.
In 2012-2013, she directed the stop motion animated TV series "Anton", winner of the first INCAA contest for producing animated TV series for Argentina National Public TV. “Antón” also participated in the official selection competition for TV films at 2013 Annecy International Animation Festival.
She is currently working in the pre-production of a new animated series for children; in the production of a stop motion animated short, and working in the scrip of new projects.
