Synopsis
Stop the Show (aka WAR), commissioned by Amnesty International, is a reference to international relations and arms trade. The campaign was created in support of a United Nations treaty to regulate the arms trade between countries and reduce worldwide killings through firearms.
Director's BIO
Max Hattler (b. 1976, Ulm/Germany) was educated in London at Goldsmiths and the Royal College of Art. His films, video installations and audiovisual performances challenge the tensions between abstraction and figuration, aesthetics and politics, sound and image, precision and improvisation.
