Director's BIO
Lemeh42 is an italian artist who has produced animation, illustrations, paintings and wall drawings since 2007. The works of Lemeh42 were presented and awarded at major festivals of video art in the world, including 'The 809 International New Image Art Festival', Yichang City (China), 'FILE 08' Sao Paulo (Brazil) and 'New Media Art Biennial ', Madeira (Portugal). In 2009 he won the first prize at the Iceberg Art Event in Bologna (Italy), for which he has represented Italy at the European Biennial of Young Artists, which was held in Skopje in Macedonia. Since 2009 he has worked with L’Ariete artecontemporanea that has become his reference gallery for Italy. Lemeh42 is interested in the problems of representation and organization of space and time, he uses animation to transform classic narrative schemes without sacrificing storytelling, ranging from the suggestions of science to the figurative tradition and 'literary avant-garde.
