Director's BIO
After having studied screenwriting and Fine Arts, Patrick Lapierre founded Tuya Productions in 2006 and co- directed the short film OMBRES CHINOISES with Anne Carrier with the help of the National Film Board. He then directed art videos for the Société de musique contemporaine du Québec (SMCQ) and took part in the post-production process for a number of Québec short and feature films, such as Roger Cantin’s UN CARGO POUR L’AFRIQUE and Anne Émond’s L’ORDRE DES CHOSES. After joining the National Film Board and helping animated filmmaker Torill Kove develop her next short film, he wrote the very short POINT DE FUITE, POINT DE CHUTE (2009) before independently directing LE COSMOS SAUVERA LE PEUPLE (2012).
